Admin Guide
This guide is for the people who run a Data2Evidence deployment, rather than the researchers who use it. It covers everything from installing the prerequisites on a fresh machine through to registering datasets, granting access and keeping the running system healthy. If you only want to try the platform out with demo data, the Quick start gets you there faster and you can come back here when you need a real dataset.
A first-time installation usually runs in this order: work through System setup to get the services running and a patient database connected, then use Dataset management to register that database as a dataset and run its data quality and characterization jobs, and finally use User management to create accounts and hand out roles. Knowledgebase is reference material you dip into when something needs troubleshooting, not a chapter to read end to end.
Unfamiliar with terms like OMOP CDM, concept set or data characterization? The Glossary defines the vocabulary used throughout these pages.
