User Guide
This guide covers the Researcher Portal, the part of Data2Evidence you use to explore data and answer research questions. It assumes someone has already installed the platform and given you an account. If that is not the case yet, the Admin Guide covers installation and user management.
The Researcher Portal integrates ATLAS 3, the OHDSI tool for cohort definitions and analyses, alongside Data2Evidence features such as the Data Sources catalog, data quality results, Data Exploration and Studies. This guide describes how Data2Evidence works and where it differs from standard ATLAS. For the ATLAS features themselves, it refers to the ATLAS user manual.
The pages follow the order you would meet the features in practice. Start with Introduction for what the platform is and which role you hold, then Getting around to find your way. From there the typical path through a research question is: pick a data source and check its data quality, assemble the concept sets that describe what you are looking for, explore the data interactively in Data Exploration, create cohorts, then characterize and compare them with the analyses or in Studies and notebooks.
Terms like OMOP CDM, concept set or cohort are defined in the Glossary if any of them are unfamiliar.
