Configure charts and the Person List

Data Exploration shows the persons that match a filter as a bar chart or in the Person List. Configure both on the Charts and Person List tabs of a Data Exploration configuration.

Charts

Initial attributes

Setting	Description
Initial Attributes for Groups on the X-Axis	The attributes the bar chart is grouped by when Data Exploration opens. You can select up to three, in order. The attributes must be visible, initial and on a filter card that is shown at application start.
Initial Measures for the Y-Axis	The measure the bar chart shows when Data Exploration opens, for example the person count. Required.

Select Clear Selection to remove a selection.

General chart settings

Setting	Description
Initial Chart in Application	The chart shown when Data Exploration opens.
Minimum Person Count	Groups with fewer persons than this number are not shown. Use it to protect person privacy in small groups.

Chart types

At least one chart type must be active.

Bar Chart has the following options:

• Enable the buttons Export to CSV File, Export to PDF File and Export to PNG File.
• Show Groups with No Persons
• Enable Overlapping Histogram
• Enable Overlapping Bar Chart
• Enable Kernel Density Plot

Person List has the following options:

• Enable the buttons Export to CSV File and Export to ZIP File.
• Maximum number of persons to export
• Persons per Page

Person List

On the Person List tab, choose which attributes researchers can show as columns in the Person List:

Column	Description
Visible	Makes the attribute available as a column.
Initial	Shows the column by default.

For each interaction, Display as Default Column shows the interaction in the Person List by default.
